Advieh Spiced Chocolate Sauce

Advieh Spiced Chocolate Sauce

Healthy sweets sound like a trick, but this recipe from the team at S+P Plant Based Foods is our kind of bamboozle. This decadent chocolate sauce is the pantry staple we all deserve!
Vegan Malai Kofta

Vegan Malai Kofta

This recipe is from Shelby Faux and Payson Cunningham, the talented plant based cooks at S+P Plant Based Foods in Portland, Maine. The bright colors and bold flavors in this dish are sure to brighten any day!
Floral Infused Vodka with Runamok Bitters

Floral Infused Vodka with Runamok Bitters

'Tis the season for colorful drinks! I'm a big fan of infused alcohol all year round, but in the winter I find myself reaching for cinnamon sticks, star anise and allspice over and over again. This drink features those plus another of my pantry staples: hibiscus.
Spiced Olive Oil Crackers

Spiced Olive Oil Crackers

Home made crackers feel special; They're easy to make, but always impress! We're a fan of making these as simple gifts and try to always have a few on hand for snacking. Along with Ottolenghi's standard recipe, we've included a couple of our favorite topping combinations. No matter how you dress them up, these pair perfectly with a soft cheese and hummus.
Masala Chai Dalgona Whipped Coffee

Masala Chai Dalgona Whipped Coffee

This is one of our favorite ways to use SKORDO Masala Chai Spice Blend. The cardamom, clove and pepper really shine through in contract with the instant coffee. Dalgona coffee was a summer star we’re planning on enjoying well into fall!
Togarashi Pickles

Togarashi Pickles

These quick pickles are great on any steam bun sandwich and one of my favorite additives to rice bowls. They also pair well with SKORDO Korean Barbecue chicken wings!
Syrian Za'atar Spiced Vegetables

Syrian Za'atar Spiced Vegetables

This recipe is inspired by the Za'atar Spiced Vegetables in The Farmhouse Culture Guide to Fermenting. The minute I read through the book's index I knew this was a must make. Fermented vegetables and za'atar are two of my favorite things. Putting them together was too good to pass up!
Quick Pickled Radishes

Quick Pickled Radishes

Time to admit a hard truth: My refrigerator has been filled with garden grown radishes and I don't really like the taste of them fresh. Friends bringing bundles over as gifts; our neighbor gave us her CSA share this week (thanks, Beth!) and sure enough, 15 pink beauties in there. I even planted a few myself thinking this was the year I'd learn to like them. Turns out, I might be right!
Tropical Daze

Tropical Daze

It's 85 degrees outside. It's Friday. Has there ever been a better time for a boozy, fruity, frozen drink? This one is for all the folks looking for a tropical vacation without the plane ride. Highly recommend!
Grilled Street Corn Dip

Grilled Street Corn Dip

Grilled corn is one of our favorite summer staples. There's nothing better than the mix of smoky and sweet! A couple of weeks ago we kicked off grilling season with an all day friends and family grilling extravaganza. This dip was a highlight! It's great paired with veggies or chips and hearty enough to work as a side dish.

Blueberry Fizz

Blueberry Fizz

Blueberry and lemon is a classic ingredient pairing we usually associate with baking, but spring has us craving familiar flavors without the heft of muffins, breads and scones. Our solution, the Blueberry Fizz. It's a fruity, naturally sweet beverage pretty enough for garden parties and tasty enough to feel like a treat. Pair it with white rum or vodka for an impressive at home cocktail.

Syrian Za'atar Roasted Cashews and Walnuts

Syrian Za'atar Roasted Cashews and Walnuts

Raw cashews and walnuts are two of my staple pantry ingredients and I recently found a new favorite use for them. Syrian Za'atar roasted nuts are a little but sweet, a little bit salty and pack just enough of a kick to keep you coming back for more. The roasted nuts keep for weeks and are quick to make - two of my favorite things when it comes to homemade snacks!

These nuts are great added to a charcuterie board or sprinkled on ice cream as a simple dessert.
