French Tarragon Chicken Salad

French Tarragon Chicken Salad

This recipe for Tarragon Cranberry Chicken Salad uses our French Tarragon Herb Blend, a combination of French herbs and spices, that perfectly season this classic. The sweetness of the dried cranberries perfectly compliment and amplify the subtle sweetness the tarragon brings to the blend. The mustard seeds add just the right bite to balance all flavors!

Bonus! This dish can also easily be made vegetarian/vegan friendly by swapping out chickpeas for chicken and vegan mayo for regular.

Sesame Crusted Feta with Citrus + Honey

Sesame Crusted Feta with Citrus + Honey

A great snack, appetizer, salad topping, or addition to a cheese board! We used white sesame seeds and finished with honey, warmed with fresh oranges and a drizzle of olive oil. This is a very flexible recipe and low cost recipe, you can cut your feta into any shapes and season with any additional herbs + spices. No added salt in this dish as feta is plenty salty on it's own.

Spice-Infused Couscous with Baharat Candied Pistachios, Fall Vegetables and Sumac Dressing

Spice-Infused Couscous with Baharat Candied Pistachios, Fall Vegetables and Sumac Dressing

A stunning dish with flavors as captivating as the colors of the season. Here we perfumed the couscous with warm, whole spices, roasted the vegetables to heighten their natural sweetness, and balanced those flavors with bright sumac and lemon dressing and sweet-warm-salty Baharat spiced pistachios. We tossed it all together with arugula create a beautifully bright salad, perfect for crispy fall weather.

Melon Salad with Aleppo Pepper, Cucumber, + Feta

Melon Salad with Aleppo Pepper, Cucumber, + Feta

We love a mix of sweet and heat! Inspired by Tieghan Gerard's Half Baked Harvest melon recipe, we used Aleppo Chile Flakes in this recipe instead of crushed red pepper. There is something very magical about a complex chile such as Aleppo Chiles (spicy, sweet, earthy) overtop sweet, juicy melon. Pair it with bright herbs, sweet honey, and salty feta, and you have an ideal end of summer dish. Enjoy!

Potato Salad

Potato Salad

Potato Salad is certainly a dish up for debate. Some like it warm, many prefer it cold, I like it most at a barbecue where it could be considered sun-kissed (aka suspiciously "room temp", not necessarily recommended). This one is simple and best enjoyed after a few hours of marinating. The vinegar begins to almost pickle the onions, dialing down the sharp onion flavor and keeping them crisp.

Everything Seasoning Egg Salad

Everything Seasoning Egg Salad

I loved my mom's egg salad growing up, but once I became responsible for peeling my own eggs, I stopped loving the salad. Recently I saw this "hard-boiled egg hack" and I just had to try it myself! This shortcut, plus the spicy tang of Sriracha or other chili sauce made egg salad feel like a treat again. Hope you enjoy!

Steak Tip Wedge Salad | Garlic Pepper Caesar Dressing

Steak Tip Wedge Salad | Garlic Pepper Caesar Dressing

Who doesn't love a wedge salad? Sure they can be clunky to eat, but they're refreshing and flexible. Our new Garlic Pepper is loaded with Garlic, Pepper, Brown Sugar, Paprika, Onion, Cumin, Bell Pepper, Parsley--which to me screams steakhouse salad. The coarse cracked pepper crusts beautifully on the steak tips and make this creamy dressing pop! It's very much influenced by Caesar dressing, and by using mayonnaise as the base it comes together in seconds. Make it your own by switching out different cheeses and toppings like blue cheese, bacon, hardboiled eggs, or maybe artichokes.

Citrus Salad with Fennel Pollen

Citrus Salad with Fennel Pollen

Hellllloooo new ingredient! Fennel Pollen is here + ready to play! Unfamiliar with fennel pollen? We've got it all covered in this blog post- what it is, what it's like, where it comes from + more. With such a beautiful, delicate ingredient it is important to give it the spot light. Here we made a bright, springy salad that essentially dresses itself between bites with the blood oranges. It makes a great mid-day snack or an impressive appetizer ((especially with this AE Ceramics Oyster plate!)

Winter Salad with Fig Balsamic Dressing-SKORDO

Winter Salad with Fig Balsamic Dressing

In my opinion, salads are only as good as their dressing. Texture falls very close behind, so let's chat there first. Knowing that this is a fig balsamic base, I'm expecting a little sweetness to balance the sourness. To cater to this, I added maple syrup to the dressing and carried that flavor over to the toppings by way of SKORDO Sugar Hut Pepper. What loves Sugar Hut Pepper? Sweet Potatoes. What loves Sweet Potatoes? Brussel Sprouts. I played this game around the produce aisle until I felt ready to salad because I am not a salad girl and need to carry some excitement through the whole experience haha. However, this is a very adaptable salad and could absolutely be a quick way to elevate some leftovers.

Recipe Box-Grilled Vegetables with Tuscan Oil + Herb Dressing Recipe-SKORDO-

Grilled Vegetables with Tuscan Oil + Herb Dressing

This herb and spice blend dressing is delicious on grilled vegetables or a traditional salad. The Tuscan Oil Blend has a medium heat because of the crushed red pepper flakes - adjust for your taste. We've listed the vegetables we used (what we had in our pantry/garden), but you can use whatever vegetables you like. Asparagus, eggplant, green onions, or bell peppers would also be delicious.
