Greek Baklava - Our Family's Recipe

Greek Baklava - Our Family's Recipe

Sweet, nutty, and flaky... The perfect dessert. Okay, we are a bit biased, but we haven't met anyone who doesn't love this recipe! It was passed down from our Great Great Grandma (Yaya) who was from Gythion, Greece. She passed it down to our Great Aunt Sylvia (who tweaked it slightly), then to our Aunt Adrienne (who tweaked it slightly again). Our Aunt Adrienne showed us how to layer this perfect pastry, and we are so excited to share the recipe wth you.
Golden Turmeric Mango Smoothie

Golden Turmeric Mango Smoothie

Turmeric is the ultimate healing spice. The health benefits are incredible, but the most touted benefit of this golden root is it's active ingredient Curcumin. Curcumin has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant. Throughout our lives, friends and cookbooks have told us stories of Indian parents using turmeric equally in the medicine cabinet as the spice cabinet.

We love Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake. This recipe in particular is great because it is super light and fluffy, and it's not overly sweet... A great crowd pleaser for Thanksgiving that you can make ahead of time.

Roasted Vegetables, 5 Ways

Cous Cous with Baharat

Cous Cous with Baharat

Chef Kelly Unger has put together this delicious recipe for Cous Cous with Baharat, a Middle Eastern/North African peppery blend that brings the heat. We love the mix of textures in this dish with soft fruits, crisp cucumbers, and juicy tomatoes.
Pumpkin Spice French Toast

Pumpkin Spice French Toast

I'm a huge fan of anything and everything pumpkin. After enjoying a pumpkin pie (obviously), many (and I mean many) pumpkin spice lattes and even some pumpkin flavored ice cream, I needed a new recipe to enjoy. Then I came up with this gem!
