Twelve's Masala Chai Spiced Nuts
After Twelve's award-winning Pastry Chef Georgia Macon made these Masala Chai Spiced Nuts, we knew we had to share the recipe so you can make them at home for years to...
Parker House Rolls, Two Ways
This is a classic lovable dinner roll recipe, made seasonal by forming fun shapes and flavored with seasoned butter. Make it your own by swapping out your favorite SKORDO blend into the butters and play around with different shapes! I used herby SKORDO Greek Seasoning on my “turkey” rolls and SKORDO Chipotle Maple on my “pumpkin” rolls for a little orange hue and warm, spiced flavor. These rolls are so delicious because they are brushed with butter multiple times throughout the process, so don’t hold back! You can choose to make these all in one day, or set them in the fridge overnight if you’re not rushed. Have fun with it!
East-West Ginger Cake with Cardamom Cream
This cake is perfect for the Holidays. The blend of warming spices, along with the cardamom cream, provide multiple layers of flavor. It is sure to get rave reviews, especially on chilly winter evenings.

Cacio e Pepe with Tellicherry Peppercorns
Translated to "cheese and pepper pasta" in Italian, this authentic and impressive pasta dish has become a go-to main course for every palate, from kids to sophisticated foodies. It's luscious, satisfying, and incredibly easy, made mostly with ingredients you likely already have. The pepper is the star of this dish, we suggest using Tellicherry Black Peppercorns, one of the best peppercorn varieties in the world. It has a more complex flavor with a bit less of an initial kick than standard black peppercorns. Serve with a mixed green salad and you have dinner on the table!
Lebanese Fattoush Salad
This is a traditional Lebanese bread salad made with toasted pita bread and mixed greens with fresh vegetables. It is very simple to prepare but provides a unique flavor with the use of ground sumac, a lemony bright berry found on wild sumac bushes in the Middle East and Southern Italy.
Heirloom Tomato Salad with Tuscan Oil Blend Vinaigrette
The Butta Babe took SKORDO's Tuscan Oil Blend and made a farm to table fresh salad perfect for any season!
Rosemary Juniper Shortbread Cookies
This new New England Desserts cookbook has led us to some of the coziest bakes this season - all full of local flavors! Juniper is a delightful piney + peppery addition to these rosemary herbed cookies. Since this dough requires some chilling time, you can absolutely start making them now and leave the parchment log in the freezer until you start hosting this holiday season - making for an easy slice + bake later on.
Spinach and Gruyere Quiche with Fore Street Shallot Blend
A true classic French quiche... creamy, nutty Gruyere and spinach infused with the stunning flavors of our Fore Street Shallot Blend. The blend features fragrant shallots and chives combined with the light kick of crushed green peppercorns. Incorporate your ingredients and bake -- it's that easy!
Minestrone Soup
This minestrone soup comes together with one pot, in 30 minutes, uses a couple of canned ingredients, and can be adapted for any dietary needs! It’s a recipe to have on hand for snow days + sick days alike.
Potatoes au Gratin - French Onion Soup Style
This year we've combined two favorites- French Onion Soup meets Potatoes au Gratin. French Onion soup is such a labor of love that is so great at warming you up from the inside out. The creamy caramelized onions with the gooey funky cheese is an unmatched combination! But when it comes to hosting a crowd, it can be tricky to collect enough oven safe crocks to get everyones french onion under the broiler and ready to serve.
Aloo Samosas
Samosas are an Indian delicacy, and street food! The crispy triangle shells perfectly encase a fluffy potato and pea filling loaded with spices. These pack a little heat, but are often served with a cooling chutney or a curried ketchup. We made two edits to turn this traditional pastry into a quick and easy snack. 1)We used ground spices + warmed them in ghee, instead of using whole spices, toasting, and grinding. 2) We used empanada wrappers instead of making fresh dough, egg roll wrappers would work too! A samosa specific dough is pretty simple, and often uses Ajowan seeds or Caraway seeds- great to try if you have the time!
