Ingredients:

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons Merlot Pairing Salt Blend
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 4 sweet potatoes
  • A few sprigs mint, picked
  • A few sprigs cilantro, picked
  • 2 green onions, sliced thin

Instructions:

Season pork chops on both sides with Salt Blend. Add butter or oil to a heavy saute pan over medium-high heat. Add the chops and sear over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes per side. Turn heat down to low and continue to cook to desired doneness. Remove from the heat and allow to rest for a few minutes. Slice and serve with sliced roasted sweet potatoes (45 min at 375) and an herb salad. (I like mint, cilantro, and green onion.) Garnish with a sprinkle of additional Merlot Pairing Salt Blend.
