I would never have thought of making this but for the Skordo Recipe Kit. I always have loved every kit I have purchased, but I think this may have been my favorite. Fantastic for a dinner party where some of the diners are wanting adventure, but not something super spicy.

The recipe kits and spices are of excellent quality! The spices are perfectly put together to bring out great flavor in whatever you are cooking. I am very impressed with the meals and how easy it is to make them.

This kit is incredible, the flavors are amazing and the directions easy to follow. I agree with the other reviews about the amount of seasoning, the kit provides a really generous amount of seasoning and I have enough left to make another meal, which is great.

This is one of my favorite blends from SKORDO. It's refreshing! I've made the chicken salad and mustard-roasted fish recipes off the website for this blend multiple times.

I’ve loved this store since the moment I discovered it in Portland. The spices are rich and flavorful - now discovering other products like the balsamic vinegars and drink mixes.

Best seasoning

I stopped in Skordo in downtown Portsmouth and bought lemon pepper spice. It was delicious and as soon as I ran out I went back for more. The store is lovely and has an enormous selection, I will definitely return and try out a variety of their spices.

I love this salt! Add it as a finishing touch on almost every dish. Highly recommend.

Great rub for salmon!

I visited this spice shop in October 2025 and had such a great experience. The in-store customer service was wonderful — they took the time to help me decide which spices to try, and I ended up loving them so much that I ordered gift sets for family Christmas presents! Their online customer service was just as fantastic; they kindly applied a discount I forgot to add at checkout after I reached out by email. The spices are amazing and I use them for everything. Great quality, highly recommend!

I like my food with a lot of flavor and this spice pack does not disappointment. The recipe is perfect and my whole family enjoyed it. It's now part of my regular rotation of easy and delicious weeknight meals.

My friends from Portland shipped me a care package with a sampling of Central Provisions' spices and rubs. They were all fantastic, but I have been scrambling to get a backup for the Vadouvan before I run out. This stuff on french fries is unbelievably good.

Hypothetically, if you lived with someone who loved pepper, but claimed not to like cumin... but you liked cumin... this garlic pepper could – in theory – act as a little spicy diplomat delivering an uppercase PEPPER experience while sneaking in a lowercase cumin vibe providing something of a win-win.

Not that this has happened, of course, but it could... ;-)
