Yuli's Indonesian Beef Rendang with Yellow Coconut Rice Recipe Kit
Yuli, one of our SKORDO team members, shared this authentic Indonesian recipe with us...and we are hooked! It originates in Padang West Sumatra and, depending on how long you reduce the sauce, it can make three different dishes. Kare (beef curry) with little reduction, Kalio (brown curry), when reduced more, and Rendang, when the beef is caramelized and the sauce is fully reduced. Also, try replacing the beef with another type of meat, egg or vegetables; green jackfruit, potatoes and red beans are Yuli’s favorites!
