Holiday Hit Sangria Recipe

  • 8 oz cranberry juice (not cranberry cocktail)
  • 4 oz quality dark rum (optional)
  • 1/2 bottle of Modica Tart Cherry Old Fashioned mix
  • 1 bottle of dry red wine
  • 1 orange, cut into slices
  • 8 smacked sprigs of rosemary
  • handful cranberries for garnish
  • 8 oz club soda

Combine ingredients (except club soda) in a pitcher. Refrigerate, overnight if possible, but at least for a couple of hours. Add club soda and stir. Serve in wine glasses with ice and fresh garnishes. This recipe can easily be doubled for large crowds.

I make terrible drinks. Always have. I appreciate a well made cocktail it’s just never been a skill that I possess. My husband wanted to try this and I’m always reluctant about anything premix but I trust the product offerings at Skordo.
