Turmeric - Ground


Turmeric, with its gingery citrus aroma, is a signature spice in Indian, Southeast Asian, and Middle Eastern cuisine. You will use turmeric primarily in curries and masalas, but you can also use it in North African tagines and stews. If feeling experimental, try adding some turmeric to tomato soup or sprinkle some over gnocchi. If you are a baker, sprinkle with cinnamon into dough to enhance the color and smell of baked bread.
