Lemongrass Powder


Lemongrass is a tropical grass also known as Thai Lemongrass. The flavor is light and tart with lemon and pepper notes. A vital component in many Indonesian, Malaysian, Sri Lankan, Thai and Vietnamese dishes, this powder is a great alternative if you aren't able to find fresh lemongrass at your local market. Use about half as much lemongrass powder for any recipe than calls for fresh.
