As we shake off the chill of winter and welcome the fresh, bright days of spring, our cooking naturally shifts with the season. At SKORDO, we embrace the vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients that define spring—crisp greens, citrusy brightness, and fragrant spices that bring dishes to life.

To mark the start of the season, our team came together for a dinner inspired by the flavors of the season. Each of us contributed a dish, incorporating SKORDO blends and spices in ways that highlight the fresh, bold energy of spring. Kayla explored the bold and aromatic flavors of Africa and the Middle East, Jimmy took inspiration from India, Abby highlighted the warmth and spice of the Caribbean and Central + South America, Becky showcased vibrant Asian flavors, and Anne brought in the comforting yet fresh elements of European cuisine. Together, we created a menu that traveled the globe while embracing the freshness of spring.


We enjoyed the zesty kick of Latin Egg Rolls with Sazón to the delicate balance of Paella Risotto with Scallops. The Honey Roasted Beets with Dukkah added earthy sweetness, while the Tandoori Chicken brought warm, aromatic spice balanced by a touch of honey. A Kale Salad with Malay Curry Dressing rounded out the spread, proving that fresh greens can be just as exciting as any main dish!


We enjoyed Plane Beer from our neighbors at Flight Deck brewing, made some sweet and spicy mocktails and capped it off with some whiskey sours!
