An easy recipe for a delicious cut of steak with incredible flavor. Our Black Garlic Reserve Sea Salt is produced using only garlic, heat, humidity, and time, the aging process naturally develops the rich umami flavor that makes black garlic so special without preservatives, additives, or artificial ingredients.
- 16oz Ribeye Steak, 1-2 inches thick
- SKORDO Black Garlic Reserve Sea Salt
Remove steak from the refrigerator. Rub Black Garlic Reserve Sea Salt in a thin layer on both the top and bottom of the steak, firmly pressing to incorporate. Allow steak to sit out at room temperature for about 20 minutes before pre-heating the grill to allow the steak to “sweat” and the salt to incorporate.
Preheat a gas grill until hot (~450 degrees). Cook the steaks for 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to the desired doneness. (Keep an eye out for the fat hitting the hot coals and flaming.) Remove the steaks from the grill, transfer to a cooling rack, and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
