Peppercorns - Green
Green, black and white peppercorns all come from the same plant...green peppercorns are simply the unripe dried fruit. These jade fruits have a milder but more fresh flavor than most other peppercorns, and are frequently found preserved in brine or pickled. Because of their subtle flavor, we like to use green peppercorns on lighter foods such as vegetables, chicken, and fish.
