Oregano - Mexican
Oregano's flavor is warm, slightly sharp, and bittersweet with notes of camphor. Mexican oregano differs from Greek oregano with its citrus and mild licorice undertones. The subtle hints of citrus and lime enhance the flavor of paprika, cumin, and many chiles. Combine Mexican oregano with chile powder to create Mexican chile, stews, meats, or beans. We love sprinkling some on our homemade burritos!

Bright and astringent, this oregano also gave nice warmth to the chicken, white beans, cumin, chile, coriander combo.
