We are excited for our friends and neighbors at Low Stakes Lodge and the opening of their new restaurant! Low Stakes opened in early July and is a partner restaurant to Highroller Lobster Co. You will find SKORDO's own Chipotle Maple Rub used to spice the restaurant's Bar Nuts on the menu! Co-owner and chef, Andy Gerry, showed our team what goes into making the snack and shared their recipe.

 Makes 4 cups

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups raw cashews
  • 2 cups raw pecans
  • 2 tablespoons SKORDO Chipotle Maple Rub
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 fahrenheit
  2. Roast cashews and pecans on two separate baking sheets for 15 minutes, or until roasted/fragrant (pecans may roast faster than cashews, keep an eye to pull them out before burning)
  3. Combine nuts in a large mixing bowl
  4. Stir melted butter, Chipotle Maple Rub and salt into the bowl with the nuts and mix until the nuts are fully coated  
  5. Pour nuts back on to baking sheet to let cool 
  6. Serve + enjoy!
