Korean Barbecue Rub
This spice rub is delicious on grilled beef...or any other meat! It combines common ingredients in authentic Korean cooking, including the bright red Korean Chile Pepper Flakes, Gochugaru. We balanced the heat from the chile pepper flakes with sweetness from brown sugar, helping with caramelization of the meat and multiple layers of flavor.

There is nothing this can't go on. I don't eat meat but love this so much!!! Had it so far on eggs, tofu, fries, popcorn, sprinkled on ramen, baked Mac. Will be buying over and over.

This seasoning is fantastic. I've heard about Korean BBQ becoming more famous in general, and was excited to try this blend when I saw that Skordo had it. I guess it's the gochugaru that makes it so distinctive, but the blend is really well balanced. I've tried to add individual spices to replicate famous flavors, and it hasn't worked as well as using this blend instead. I used it in a chicken stir-fry, marinating the chicken in the Korean Barbecue Rub in a sealed container earlier in the day. It came out fantastically.
