This year we're gifting our friends the perfect kick off or Christmas morning. It's bubbly, a little bit tart and of so festive!
Cranberry + Cardamom Simple Syrup
Yields 2 cups
- 2 cups Water
- 1/2 cup whole fresh Cranberries
- 1/2 cup granulated Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
- 1 teaspoon Masala Chai
- Pinch of Pink Peppercorns
In a medium sauce pan add all ingredients and bring to a low boil. Stir to incorporate the sugar and agitate the cranberries. Reduce heat to a low simmer for 3 minutes. The cranberries will burst and the syrup will thicken slightly. Continue stirring and remove from heat. Let cool.
Cava + Cranberry Pop
Yields 4 - 5 Glasses
- 1 bottle chilled Cava
- Cooled Cranberry + Cardamom Syrup
- Juice of 2 Lemons
- Rosemary Sprigs to garnish
- Dash of Runamok Floral Bitters
Pour 3-6 tablespoons of the simple syrup into the bottom of each glass. Add 1-3 tablespoons of lemon juice. Top with Cava and garnish each glass with a sprig of rosemary and finish with a dash of bitters. Cheers!
