Our whole black peppercorns are produced by picking the mature but unripe berries as they are beginning to turn from green to yellow. They are then quickly boiled and allowed to ferment and sun-dry until black and wrinkled. Black Pepper tastes moderately spicy, is pungent, and very aromatic. Grind fresh and into a coarse grind for a fresher, stronger flavor.

The only thing I can say is that Skordo is the most amazing company!!! All the ingredients are incredibly fresh. I NEVER buy any spices anywhere but thru Skordo, great customer service, quick shipping…Truly the BEST!!!
