Our Israeli Za'atar can be used as a condiment, simply stirred with olive oil and served on flatbread, and you can also incorporate it in many authentic dishes. Unlike Syrian Za'atar, this Israeli version contains sesame seeds and therefore goes nicely on meatballs, kebabs, and veggies. It also makes a wonderful dry rub for roasted chicken. If you want a snack, sprinkle some over your popcorn for a unique taste.

Exceeded expectations

My son and daughter-in-law gave me a gift certificate to Skordo and I wanted to take a trip to Maine and use it in he store. That never happened and I forgot I had the gift certificate. I discovered it in the cookbook they gave me as part of my gift. I expected the certificate would have expired, but it didn't. I ordered on line and had no trouble at all. The spices I ordered are delicious. I live in Rhode Island, but I will continue to use Skordo knowing that the quality of both their products and service is excellent.

I tossed this with a little olive oil over broccoli and cauliflower that I roasted in the oven and it was fantastic!

I came into the store in the Maine Mall and wanted a spice blend that would be good in salad dressing. So far I have used it in dressings and on roasted veggies and it is yummy
