Cinnamon - Vietnamese

$6.00

Size

Saigon, also known as Vietnamese cinnamon, is spicier, more complex, and more pungent than Indonesian cinnamon.  This is due to its higher oil content.  In Vietnamese cuisine, Saigon cinnamon is a very common ingredient in the nation's most popular noodle soup, Pho.  We find that it is especially well-suited for savory dishes.  We put it in our Greek Chicken Kapama and it works perfectly!

Best cinnamon ever

I visited Portland last summer with my girlfriend and picked up a few spices here; this Vietnamese cinnamon turned out to be our favorite. We use it almost every day! It's cinnamon that tastes extra cinnamon-y, if that makes any sense... Great in our morning oatmeal and coffee. It made our apple pie this past Thanksgiving amazing too. We had to get a refill when we ran out. Thanks Skordo, we love it!

Always good!

I use a lot of cinnamon and I always buy poly bags of Vietnamese cinnamon from Skordo. I have bought this product many times over the years. Great quality, lovely flavor. Highly recommended.
