Full Moon Ghee

Full Moon Ghee has a slightly sweet flavor and a smoke point of 485°F, making it ideal for high-temperature cooking versus typical butter. The fat most commonly used in Indian cooking, ghee can work as the butter or oil in most recipes, no matter the origin.

Crafted with pure Jersey Cow butter in Greenfield, Massachusetts. The cows are fed high quality grass and hay, and never treated with hormones or antibiotics.

Honoring a practice rooted in the ancient texts of India, this ghee is made on the full moon, a time of heightened essence, vitality, and expansion. Beginning with the finest locally sourced butter and then simmered down to its essence, the ghee is infused with intentions of wellness and harmony. Ghee is a lactose-free oil believed to be purifying for all the organ systems of the body.

Ingredients: Clarified Butter.
