DeArbol Chile Peppers - Dried

If you're a heat lover, these chiles are for you. DeArbol chiles, a favorite in Mexican cuisine, have a searingly hot and smoky flavor. Consider using DeArbols instead of Cayenne peppers if you want more depth to your dishes. They provide similar heat, but the DeArbol has the flavor Cayenne lacks. Toast, grind, and use a small amount in hot sauces, salsas, soups, and taco meat. You can also soak, puree, and use in a stew or table sauce. Just remember - they are hot!

Heat Level: Hot
