Designed by artist Alison Evans, a fellow "Mainer" out of Yarmouth, these ceramic pieces are truly one of a kind. Alison transforms the natural shapes of coastal life into beautiful tabletop items, each hand molded and hand glazed.
The Oyster series is one of our favorite collections, and this dish is one of it's most unique pieces. The dish is textured on the back and looks like a real oyster shell. Uses vary from holding salt, soaps, jewelry or as a spoon rest. I personally love using it as a condiment dish. Brides love to give this as a gift for the guests at their weddings!
Care: Dishwasher and microwave safe. Although the plate can withstand temperature changes, thermal shock should be avoided by warming up pieces in the oven.
