We may be biased, but we think our customers are the best on the planet. Here's what some of them are saying about us:

I just wanted to take a minute and say "Thank You" to the entire team at SKORDO for help with a group of gifts that I needed to send to folks scattered across the country. I was unsure of exactly what I wanted to send and the SKORDO team not only took the time to understand what people would like, but put together a thoughtful package of options from which to choose. They made the process so easy and so delightful. The best part was that everyone LOVED their gifts. I could not have chosen a better way to get gifts to a very diverse group of people. Thanks again SKORDO!

SKORDO spice blends use exceptional ingredients in each small batch to create a fresh and vibrant flavor. When I am searching for new and exciting seasonings to accentuate my menu ideas, I always choose SKORDO.

SKORDO's spice blends have become a staple in our house. The spice mixtures add authentic regional flavors to any dish. I like to use the Mexican mole on chicken thighs before roasting or grilling. The Green Thai Curry Powder provides a flavorful addition when making a coconut curry and I love to use the Korean and Togarashi Spice Blends when making an Asian meal or simply as a steamed rice topper. Highly recommend!

The instant I opened my first jar of SKORDO’s spice blends I was overcome with nostalgia and felt transported to the streets of Mumbai where I grew up. It was clear to me that only someone who really understood Indian food or lived in India could possibly craft an Indian curry collection with such accuracy.  [...] As a working parent with two active children to cook for every night in a limited window of time, my Skordo pantry is more than empowering to me; it adds real value to my life. SKORDO's spice blends inspire me to make an ethnic meal for my family without spending too much time sourcing a variety of spices to make one authentic blend. I rely on SKORDO to do all the spice-crafting and blending so I can spend more time with my family at our dinner table instead. I never have to compromise on flavor.

Just received your personal handwritten note regarding our recent purchase. What a classy touch. My wife and I discovered your store on our first time visit to Portland in January. We look forward to our next visit but are grateful that we can order online. We added the seafood and steaks package because we were so happy with the Grillin' spices. Looking forward to additional purchases.

Bought the Tagine recipe packet when I was in Maine this summer! OMG! My husband and I couldn’t believe it - probably one of the best dishes we ever had! Hooked on SKORDO.

I love all their spices. I have used several including Baharat, Vindaloo, Carolina Rub, Aleppo Pepper and many more. SKORDO rubs and spices are the freshest tasting, most vibrant I’ve ever used. I love that they are local and prices are great!!

Portland, Maine is your quintessential New England coastal town. While Maine may be best known for lobster rolls and lighthouses, Portland has proven itself to be so much more than that. It has a burgeoning arts community, an award-winning culinary scene, and some incredible independent shops.

Ask my husband and he’ll tell you that I’m a sucker for great branding. Place an artfully crafted logo and a great jar together… and I’m SOLD! He always pokes fun at me saying it doesn’t matter what’s in the jar as long as it looks cool.  Well a few months ago, he gifted me a couple of spice collections from SKORDO for my birthday. This time it did matter what was in the jar.
